Trisun type 40 seal is equivalent to Vulcan type 40 seal.
It can be multiple spring mechanical seal or wave spring mechanical seal. 

The Type 40 is a narrow profile, hydraulically balanced, multiple spring internal Mechanical Seal with an advanced robust design and high performance. 

Ideal for demanding applications due to the balanced design, protected springs, and dynamic 'O'-Ring. A PTFE backup ring is recommended for higher pressure applications.
